Metropolitan (previously Citibank Hall) is a music venue group, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, capital of the same state and in Sao Paulo, in Brazil. The venue has a capacity of 8450, but for specific events, can have four different configurations.
It was opened in September 1994, with the name of Metropolitan. In late 2000, after a naming rights agreement, it was renamed ATL Hall, Claro Hall after the consolidation of the América Móvil-owned networks in Brazil, and since March 2007, when the Claro agreement expired, it is called Citibank Hall.
Located in Barra da Tijuca, it is one of the major show house of Rio de Janeiro.[citation needed]
