Dial-the-Truth Ministries is a Protestant Fundamentalist website. The organization began in 1990 as a telephone ministry with "inspirational" recorded messages for the caller. They are King James Only-advocates, which means they believe the only "true" English version of the Bible is the Authorized Version of 1611 (hence, their web address: www.av1611.org; See King James Only movement). The website first went online in 1995. It is run by Dr. Terry Watkins and is based in Pinson, Alabama, United States. It archives many different articles.

Beliefs

Dial-the-Truth Ministries maintains that rock music is evil, based on the Biblical instruction, "Be ye not unequally yoked with unbelievers" (II Corinthians 6:14), that both "mainstream" and "Christian rock" music are tools of Satan and that popular Christian artists such as Stryper, Frontline, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Carman, Point of Grace,[2] DC Talk and Jars of Clay could be "under the influence of Satan".[3] The site has criticised Britney Spears as a "whorish woman" who provokes "youthful lusts" and parents who allow their children to listen to the Spice Girls as "co-conspirators in this cultural rape of their daughters".[4]

Dial-the-Truth Ministries also believe that Hell is a physical place[5] located in the core of the Earth. They also believe that Santa Claus is a form of Satan.[6] Dial-the-Truth Ministries has additionally written on the theory of a link between the number '11' and the September 11th terrorist attacks, alleging that, "This could be the "beginning of the end" of America the great."[7]
