Dmitry Nikolaevich Shipov (1851 — 1920) — Russian politician.

Life

Graduate of St. Petersburg University. He was elected Chairman of Volokolamsk Uezd Zemstvo Board, 1891, of Moscow Gubernia Zemstvo Board, 1900.

One of the leaders of the Union of October 17; joined the Party of Peaceful Renovation (1908).

He was elected member of the State Council by Moscow zemstvo (1907–1909).

After the Bolshevik Revolution, member of the National Center. Imprisoned by the Bolsheviks in Butyrka prison, where he died.
