| Doral Academy Preparatory High School is a charter middle/high school located in Doral, Florida, USA. Doral Academy Charter Schools are fully recognized public Middle and High schools. Doral Academy Charter is a school with an independently managed academic organization, approved and monitored by the local school board. Unlike a private school, wherein parents must pay tuition, Doral Academy is funded by the Florida Department of Education and provides free education (To remain in the school one must either complete 30 community hours or pay 99 dollars annually.)to any student eligible to attend public school in the Miami-Dade County School District. In 2012, Doral Academy Charter High School and Doral Academy Performing Arts ranked 18th best school in the country. Sports: Doral academy is very involved in sports. Football, tennis, soccer, golf, swimming, etc. Most of their teams have won trophies, like the swimming and soccer team. There are many extra curriculum activities and clubs in Doral Academy. Examples of those would be National Honor Society (NHS), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), CORE Club, Key Club, etc. Most of those clubs have been involved in either competition and/or been involved in helping out the community.
