Ernest Ten Eyck Attwell (2 March 1877 – 6 August 1949) was the third head football coach for the Tuskegee University Golden Tigers located in Tuskegee, Alabama and he held that position for eleven seasons, from 1902 until 1912. His coaching record at Tuskegee was 31 wins, 17 losses, and 4 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him seventh at Tuskegee in total wins and sixth at Tuskegee in winning percentage (.635).[1] He was born in New York in 1877.[2]

Attwell died of an apparent heart attack at Grand Central Station in August 1949.[3]
