Fanfou (Chinese: 饭否) is a Chinese microblogging (weibo) website. It was the first Twitter clone in China.
History
Fanfou.com was created by Wang on 2007 May the 12th, originally running on a LAMP stack, as a Twitter clone complete with APIs.
It received funding from Hewlett-Packard on 2009 June the 2nd.[2]
It was closed on 2009 July the 7th due to censorship.[3]
It was then reopened on 2010 November the 11th.[4]
