  • Reverse shows a bell inscribed with the Ukrainian text "ЧОРНОБИЛЬ" (Chernobyl) set in the center of the coin's field, the dates "1986-1996" set on a banner, five flying <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/crane_(bird)" class="extiw" title="w:crane (bird)">cranes</a> - three to the left and two to the right of the bell respectively - in the background, and the Ukrainian text "ТРАГЕДІЯ ПОДВИГ ЗАСТЕРЕЖЕННЯ" (warning of a deed of tragedy).
