Summary
Home of the <a rel="nofollow" class="external text" href="http://www.charlestonbattery.com/">Charleston Battery</a> of the USL First Division, Blackbaud Stadium hosts an annual soccer tournament, the Carolina Challenge Cup, with three <a rel="nofollow" class="external text" href="http://www.mlsnet.com/">Major League Soccer</a> teams. My wife and I first went in 2006 to cheer for the Houston Dynamo, who had just left San Jose at that time, dressed in our San Jose Earthquakes gear. We had such a great time we went again in 2007. With the Quakes returning to MLS in 2008, I hope they go to this tournament so we can cheer for them there next March!
