Summary

Calcomp 565 drum plotter circa 1966. At the time it was one of the few ways to draw computer-generated pictures of acceptable quality. Examples are line drawings as used in computer-aided design, or graphical representations of computations. It was also sold by IBM as the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_1627" class="extiw" title="w:IBM 1627">w:IBM 1627</a>. A wide carriage model was also available. On display at Nemo Science Center.
