A <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/carrot_cake" class="extiw" title="w:carrot cake">carrot cake</a>. <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Dbenbenn" title="User:Dbenbenn">David Benbennick</a> took the picture on Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at 19:02 local time (18:02 UTC). I made the cake about two hours earlier from the "Carrot Cake with Maple Butter Frosting" recipe on page 180 of Desserts (see <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Carrot_cake.jpg#References" title="File:Carrot cake.jpg">References</a>). I left out the walnuts, and used a bit over a cup of raisins to compensate. I only used two cups of sugar in the frosting.
