Summary

A Google Cardboard VR headset, shown assembled and with a phone (iPhone 6s) in the visor slot. Made as a cheap, open standard by Google to encourage use and development of Virtual Reality, Google Cardboard is an inexpensive container and plastic lenses designed to turn a phone or small tablet into a VR headset. This particular model came free with the New York Times as part of a promotion on November 8th, 2015.
