IWM caption : <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Saumarez_(G12)" class="extiw" title="en:HMS Saumarez (G12)">HMS Saumarez</a> showing the damage sustained by an influence mine laid in the Medri Channel area of the Corfu Straight in the Mediterranean. The mine was laid by Albania against international agreements. She is seen here under tow from HMS Volage, which suffered a similar fate just two hours later.
