Photograph of layers of plaster in a building of the Huayang Palace at the foot of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hua_Hill" class="extiw" title="en:Hua Hill">Hua Hill</a> in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jinan" class="extiw" title="en:Jinan">Jinan</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shandong" class="extiw" title="en:Shandong">Shandong</a>, <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/China" class="mw-redirect" title="China">China</a>. The original wall frescos (still visible in the upper right hand corner) have been plastered over during the Cultural Revolution. The red text also dates from the Cultural Revolution, it is <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lin_Biao" class="extiw" title="en:Lin Biao">Lin Biao</a>'s foreword to Mao's Little Red Book: "Study Chairman Mao's writings, follow his teachings, act according to his instructions, and be a good soldier of his." Lin Biao's name has been scratched out below the quote (bottom right), presumably after his downfall.
