Microscopic Imager (MI) closeup view in by the Opportunity rover of "Pinnacle Island" Mars rock showing the whitish colouring around the edges and the darker interior. The rock is rich in sulfur, magnesium and manganese.

The site is on "Murray Ridge," a section of the rim of Endeavour Crater where Opportunity is working on north-facing slopes during the rover's sixth Martian winter.
