Summary

Postcard picture of home of Lee Bivins in Amarillo, Texas. Bivins was a busnessman and rancher in Amarillo and built a housing development there, but in 1889, he was living in a makeshift shack. In the late 1890s, saloonkeeper Skid Ellis killed Bivins' brother, Dick, and later Bivins shot at Ellis, wounding him. In 1903 Bivins built this home.
