It is one of five ex-<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metrobus_(South_East_England)" class="extiw" title="en:Metrobus (South East England)">Metrobus</a> OmniDekkas, transferred to Southern Vectis after they were made surplus to requirements at Metrobus. At the time of the photo, the vehicle was in Southern Vectis' main bus fleet. It is due to move to the coach fleet in September 2010, following large changes.
