Soyuz TMA-18M mission patch.
- The Soyuz TMA-18M spacecraft will launch to the International Space Station on Sept. 1, 2015. Commander Sergei Volkov will join the Expedition 45 crew; Kazakh cosmonaut Aidyn Aimbetov and Danish ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen will spend ten days aboard the orbital outpost before returning to Earth aboard Soyuz TMA-16M with cosmonaut Gennady Padalka.
- The Soyuz TMA-18M insignia, which is shaped like the patch for the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project — flown 40 years ago, was designed by Jorge Cartes from Madrid, Spain.
