Summary

The Old Court House (now NatWest Bank) on St Peter's Square in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruthin" class="extiw" title="en:Ruthin">Ruthin</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wales" class="extiw" title="en:Wales">Wales</a>, was built in 1401, immediately after the town was razed in the opening action of Owain Glyndwr's rebellion. The remains of the gibbet, last used to execute a Catholic priest in 1679, are on the reverse side of the building.
