Summary
The United States Navy <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/auxiliary_motor_minesweeper" class="extiw" title="en:auxiliary motor minesweeper">auxiliary motor minesweeper</a> when new. On 17 May 1945, during <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Hula" class="extiw" title="en:Project Hula">Project Hula</a>, the United States transferred her to the Soviet Navy in which, as T-522, she took part in the Soviet conquest between 11 and 25 August 1945 of the Japanese province of Karafuto on southern Sakhalin Island. T-522 served in the Soviet Navy until stricken in July 1956.
