George W. Huber

George W. Huber is a professor of chemical engineering at the University of Wisconsin- Madison who is one of the lead researchers in the field of non-edible plant matter sources of food.

Career

Huber has bachelors and masters degrees from Brigham Young University (BYU) and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin.

Huber is a Latter-day Saint. He is currently the bishop of the Amherst Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The July 2009 issue of Scientific American included an article on the potential of grassoline by Huber and Bruce E. Dale.
