The Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, SC Combined Statistical Area is made up of ten counties in Upstate South Carolina, with Greenville being the principal city. The combined statistical area includes two metropolitan areas and three micropolitan areas.[3] As of 2014, the CSA had a population of 1,409,582, a 3.5% increase from 2010, making it the largest in the South Carolina.[4]
