Alumni Association

The school has a very active Alumni Association[1] whose members organize many reunions in various cities around the USA or the world, usually of all years or a range of years rather than for individual classes. Since 1986, the largest of these All-Year Reunions has been held in Heidelberg every five years. Planning is underway for the 2016 All-years Reunion. This reunion and others are publicized and discussed in Facebook Groups.

Notable alumni

  • General Norman Schwarzkopf. Commander, Operation Desert Storm attended Heidelberg for a year in 1950. He did not graduate but credits his schooling in Europe Dodd schools for his strong education preparing him for the US Academy at West Point[citation needed]
