Henk Beernink

Hendrik Karel Jan (Henk) Beernink (born 2 February 1910 in Maarssen – died 22 August 1979 in Rijswijk) was a Dutch politician of the Christian Historical Union (CHU).
Beernink was an MP from 1946 to 1967 and from 1963 also Parliamentary leader. In 1958 he succeeded Hendrik Willem Tilanus as Party Chairman. From 1967 to 1971 he was Minister of the Interior in the De Jong cabinet.
He was also town clerk of Rijswijk.
