International Plaza and Bay Street is a large upscale shopping mall located in the Westshore business district of Tampa, Florida. The mall, which opened in 2001, was built to give travelers an option to shop and dine in high-class surroundings, while at the same time be able to stay near Tampa International Airport (which borders the property). In 2006, the Renaissance Hotel Tampa/International Plaza was opened on the premises, making International Plaza one of a handful of malls in the U.S. to have a hotel directly on the mall campus.

About

The mall is anchored by the department stores Nordstrom, Dillard's, and Neiman Marcus.

Popular stores include AlX Armani Exchange, Abercrombie & Fitch, abercrombie kids, Aldo, Apple, Athleta, BCBG Max Azria, Coach, Forever 21, Free People, Gap, Godiva, Guess, H&M, Hollister Co., J.Crew, Janie and Jack, L'Occitane, Lilly Pulitzer, Lucky Brand, lululemon athletica, Lush, M.A.C., Oakley, PINK, Restoration Hardware, Sephora, Spanx, Sperry Top-Sider, Sunglass Hut, Tommy Bahama, True Religion, Urban Outfitters, Victoria's Secret, Williams-Sonoma, Z Gallerie, Zara, and many more.

The mall also hosts a number of higher end stores including Burberry, David Yurman, Diesel, Gucci, Henri Bendel, Hugo Boss, Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Montblanc, Stuart Weitzman, Swarovski, Tiffany & Co., Tory Burch, Tumi, and Uno de 50.

Notable former tenants included Anne Fontaine, Bang & Olufsen, Betsey Johnson, Lord & Taylor, Oilily, Ruehl No.925, and Wolford.

Adjacent to mall itself are four corporate office towers; Corporate Center One, Two, Three, and Four. Center One was built in 1999, Center Two in 2001, and Center Three in 2004. Center Four, which encompasses 247,000 sq ft (22,900 m2) of office space, was completed in 2008. Corporate Centers One through Three are owned by Carter Property Management, Corporate Center Four by Eola Capital, while the mall itself is owned by Taubman Centers.

Bay Street

Bay Street consists of upscale restaurants, bars and cafes in an intimate sidewalk café setting. Restaurants include Brio Tuscan Grille, The Capital Grille, The Cheesecake Factory, and The Pub. Other restaurants found inside of the mall are California Pizza Kitchen and Bazille inside Nordstrom.

This open-air area becomes a nightspot after mall closing hours, with most of the aforementioned restaurants open late. In addition, Bar Louie and Blue Martini are popular nightclubs with the young millennial professional crowd.

Section L

In 2008 International Plaza began working on a standalone project at the edge of their property along Westshore Boulevard. After many months of construction the mall opened the Bay area's first, multi-story Crate & Barrel along with upscale restaurant Ocean Prime. The tenants opened for business in May 2009 and the location was given the name Section L.
