Jacob Wohl (born December 12, 1997) is an American Hedge Fund Manager, Investor, [1] and television personality.[2] Jacob Wohl started his capital management business, known as Wohl Capital Investment Group LLC,[3][4] at age 16. Jacob Wohl is currently the Chief Executive Officer of NeX Capital Management LLC,[5] a registered commodity trading adviser[6] which provides managed futures account services to US investors. Wohl is also the Chief Investment Officer at Montgomery Assets Inc. a Beverly Hills, CA firm that manages real estate assets for US and international investors.
Early life
Born in Orange, CA. He moved to Corona, CA at age 4. For much of his early life Wohl played sports and traded stocks and options sporadically while researching business through books and the internet.
Career
In 2014, at age 16, Wohl started his first firm known as Wohl Capital Investment Group, LLC [7] where he managed capital on behalf of a small group of outside investors. Wohl received much media attention from his venture as the.[8] In late 2015, with co-founder Matthew Johnson, a University of California, Berkeley graduate in Economics and Computer Science, Wohl started NeX Capital Management, LLC, a registered Commodity Trading Adviser. This firm develops and implements quantitative futures options trading strategies. In 2016, Wohl was also hired as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Montgomery Assets Inc.[9] Montgomery Assets Inc. is a Beverly Hills, CA firm that invests primarily in Real estate assets.
