James Gordon Crowdy (2 July 1847 – 16 December 1918) was an English cricketer. Crowdy was a right-handed batsman.

Crowdy made his first-class debut for the Marylebone Cricket Club in the 1872 season. Crowdy played a single match for the club against Oxford University.

In 1875 Crowdy made his first-class debut for Hampshire against Sussex. Crowdy played three matches for the county in the 1875 season. In a County match against Kent, Crowdy took his only first-class wicket, that of Frank Penn.

Crowdy's next first-class appearance for Hampshire came in 1877, where he played a single first-class match against Kent. It would be five more years before Crowdy represented the county again, in the 1882 season against the Marylebone Cricket Club.

Crowdy's final first-class appearance came in the 1884 season against Surrey.

Crowdy died at Winchester, Hampshire on 16 December 1918.
