Jean Foulquart
From Infogalactic: the planetary knowledge core
Jean Foulquart, born in Reims in the first half of the 15th century, was a French chronicler.
He drew up the inventory of the papers of the coronation of Louis XI and that of the archives of the échevinage of Reims. He composed important memoirs of which the Library of Reims has extracts: notices on the coronation of Charles VIII and the fire of the Cathedral; History of Cochinart and his interrogations. We owe him, among other things, a very interesting description of the Mystery of the Passion played in 1490.
