Joe E. Newsome High School is a public high school that was established in 2003 on Fishhawk Boulevard in Lithia, Florida, USA. It is named in honor of Joe E. Newsome, a Plant City pharmacist and businessman who served as a board member of the School District of Hillsborough County for 24 years.[1] Newsome High School Marching Band is marched in the 2016 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The school colors are Carolina Blue, Navy, and white. Its mascot is the Timber Wolf. The student newspaper is known as Wolf Tracks.

In 2013, Newsome was judged the best public school in Hillsborough County at educating students for college by Newsweek.[2]
