José Luis Artetxe Muguira (Algorta, Vizcaya, Spain, 28 June 1930) was a Spanish footballer. He served in the position of striker.
Career
Club
After starting in the youth sector of the Getxo, rising to 'Athletic Bilbao, debuting in Primera División in season 1950 - 1951, in a game Athletic Bilbao-Atletico Madrid 4-0.
Throughout his career took place with the Basques, until retirement in 1965, after having spent 15 seasons in which he played 274 games, winning one championship and three Copa del Reys.
Artetxe is still one of the best strikers in the history Athletic, scoring 133 goals, 105 of them in the league.
