Judith Prakash is a Singaporean judge in the Supreme Court.

Prakash received her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of Singapore in 1974. She was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1975.

She started practice at Chor Pee & Hin Leong in 1975. She joined Drew & Napier the following year and was made a partner in 1978 and specialised in shipping and commercial law. From 1974 to 1976, Judith was also a tutor at the National University of Singapore in family law.

She was appointed Judicial Commissioner on April 1, 1992, and appointed Judge of the Supreme Court of Singapore on April 1, 1995. Judith has been nominated as specialist judge for arbitration and shipping matters.

She was a member of the sub-committee on the Review of Arbitration Laws, appointed by the Attorney-General in 1991, that made recommendations on Singapore’s laws relating to international commercial arbitrations, and which led to the enactment of the International Arbitration Act (Cap 143).
