Karaj River

Karaj River is a river of northern Iran. Its headwaters are in the Alborz mountain range north of Tehran and it flows south past the city of Karaj and eventually enters Namak Lake The Amir Kabir Dam is constructed across the river in the foothills of the Alborz mountain range.
