Dr. Karel Hartmann (July 6, 1885 – c. October 16, 1944) was a Czechoslovakian ice hockey player who competed in the Olympic games in 1920. He was a member of the national team that won the bronze medal in Antwerp.[1] In 1922, he succeeded Paul Loicq as vice-president of the International Ice Hockey Federation.[2] On October 16, 1944, Hartmann and his wife were shipped to Auschwitz concentration camp where they were probably put to death on the same day.[3]
