The Lamprophiidae are a family of snakes[1] found in Africa, Asia, America, and Europe.[citation needed]

Classification

Lamprophiids were traditionally considered as members of the subfamily Lamprophiinae in the family Colubridae. The following classification is from Pyron et al., 2010.[2]
