This is a list of Presidents of Burundi since the formation of the post of President of Burundi in 1966, to the present day.

A total of eight people have served as President of Burundi (not counting one Acting President and two heads of state in rebellion). Additionally, one person, Pierre Buyoya, has served on two non-consecutive occasions.
