List of countries by health emergency preparedness
From Infogalactic: the planetary knowledge core
This list of countries by health emergency preparedness measures how well OECD countries have implemented International Health Regulations as published by the World Health Organization in 2015. This Emergency Preparedness Index was created following Ebola and Zika outbreaks which revealed gaps in abilities to respond to health emergencies in different countries. Countries are ranked by the average percentage of 13 core capacity scores.[1]
Note that the WHO does not rank countries based on alphabetic order - The list here reflects the rankings published by the WHO for ties. Also note that there is no data for the United Kingdom available.
