Since Mohali hosted its first Test match in 1994 and first ODI match in 1993, 25 Test and 7 ODI centuries have been scored at the ground.

The Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium is a cricket ground in Mohali, near Chandigarh, India. It is popularly known to as the Mohali Stadium, PCA Stadium or Bindra Stadium. It has an official capacity of 26,950 spectators.[1] The stadium was designed by Arun Loomba and Associates, Panchkula and constructed by R.S. Construction Company, Chandigarh.[2] It is home to the Punjab cricket team and the Indian Premier League's Kings XI Punjab,[3] as well as being a Test, One Day International and Twenty20 International (T20) venue. The ground has hosted twelve Test matches, the first in 1994 when India played the West Indies.[4] It has also staged twenty-two One Day International matches, the first of which was in 1993 when South Africa lost to India by 43 runs.[5] Four T20 Internationals have been played at the ground, the first when India beat Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in 2009.[6] Of the twenty-two One Day Internationals played at the stadium, three matches (including a semi-final) were staged during the World Cup in 2011. Of the four Twenty20 International staged at the venue, three matches were held during the World Twenty20 in 2016.

The first Test century (100 or more runs in a single innings) scored at the ground was in 1994 by the West Indian Jimmy Adams in the first innings of the very first Test match played at the venue. The first Indian to score a century at Mohali was Manoj Prabhakar in the second innings of the same match.[7] In total, 25 Test centuries have been scored at the ground in 12 Test matches. Shikhar Dhawan's 187, scored against Australia in 2013, is the highest Test innings achieved at the ground. The highest Test score by an overseas player is 174 not by the West Indian Jimmy Adams in the first Test match at the ground. Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Sourav Ganguly, and Rahul Dravid have scored the most Test centuries at the ground with two each.[8]

The first One Day International century scored at the ground was in 1997 by New Zealand's Nathan Astle against Pakistan in 1997. The first Indian to score a century at Mohali was MS Dhoni in 2013. Dhoni's innings of 139 not out scored against Australia, is also the highest ODI innings achieved at the ground. The highest ODI score by an overseas player is 134 by the South African AB de Villiers against the Netherlands in a 2011 World Cup match. In total, 7 ODI centuries have been scored by seven different batsmen at the ground in 22 ODI matches.[9] No centuries have been scored in the four T20Is played at Mohali. India's Virat Kohli holds the record for the highest T20 International innings score at the ground, 82 not out against Australia at a 2016 World Twenty20 match.[10]
