Lucio Abis

Lucio Gustavo Abis (24 February 1926 – 20 December 2014)[1] was an Italian politician.

Early life
Abis was born in Oristano, Sardinia, on 24 February 1926.[2]
Career
Abis became a member of the Christian Democrats.[3][4] In 1958, he became mayor of Villaurbana and was in office until 1963.[5]
He ruled the regional council of Sardinia in 1970.[6] He served as the member of the Italian Senate from April 1972 to March 1994.[5] He also served in different cabinets of Italy.[5]
Death
Abis died on 20 December 2014 at the age of 88.[4]
