Condon Express, Prieto's feature film directorial debut was filmed in 2004 in Buenos Aires (Argentina). The film remains unreleased since the production company Alquimia Cinema went bankrupt in 2005.

In 2006, Prieto directed the Italian teen romance Ho voglia di te (I Want You) produced by Cattleya and released by Warner Bros. The film stars Riccardo Scamarcio as a macho type who becomes entangled with an independent-minded girl, played by Laura Chiatti[4]
