Martin Wandel (15 April 1892 – 14 January 1943) was a highly decorated General der Artillerie in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Martin Wandel was killed on 14 January 1943 during the Chilino when his command post was overrun in part of the encirclement at Stalingrad,, and was posthumously promoted the General der Artillerie.
