Maurício José da Silveira Júnior (born in São José dos Campos, October 21, 1988) is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Zenit in the Russian Premier League.

Career

Club

On 2 February 2010 Maurício signed for Russian Premier League side Terek Grozny from Fluminense.[2]

On 17 January 2016, Maurício moved to Zenit on a six-month contract, with the option of an extension at the end of it.[3] On 19 May 2016, Zenit extended Maurício's contract until the end of the 2018-19 season. [4]

International

Maurício indicated that he would be likely to accept a call-up for Russia national football team if asked.[5]
