The Minnesota Executive Council is the executive council of Minnesota. The Council is established by Chapter 9 of Minnesota Statutes.

The Minnesota Executive Council is composed of the statewide elected executive officials. The members are the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, State Auditor, and Minnesota Attorney General. The governor is chair.

The Minnesota Executive Council "appoints, fixes the salary of, and removes at pleasure" an executive secretary. The executive secretary perform duties assigned by the Executive Council and may employ personnel as is necessary, some of whom may be detailed from other state departments.

The Executive Council meets upon the call of the governor or upon the call of the executive secretary at the request of three or more members.
