The Moving Picture Company (MPC) is a global visual effects studio creating digital visual effects and computer animation for feature films, commercials, music videos and television. A wholly owned subsidiary of Technicolor, MPC has facilities in London, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Montreal, New York, Bangalore, Amsterdam, Mexico City, Paris, and Shanghai.

Recent film projects include Cinderella (Kenneth Branagh), Exodus: Gods and Kings (Ridley Scott), Furious 7 (James Wan), Godzilla (Gareth Edwards), Maleficent (Robert Stromberg), and Guardians of the Galaxy (James Gunn). Other notable work includes Life of Pi (Ang Lee), Skyfall (Sam Mendes), Prometheus (Ridley Scott), X-Men: First Class (Matthew Vaughn), Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (Rob Marshall), Sucker Punch (Zack Snyder), The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (Michael Apted), Wrath of the Titans (Jonathan Liebesman) and Terminator Genisys (Alan Taylor).

Recent commercials that MPC have worked on include iconic John Lewis Christmas campaigns; 'Monty's Christmas', 'Snowman' and 'The Long Wait', both Ikea campaigns; 'Beds' and 'T-shirts', along with award winning Assassins Creed IV 'Black Flag', Lacoste 'The Big Leap', and multiple Lurpak and Channel 4 campaigns. Other historical work includes Channel 4 'Meet The Superhumans', Evian 'Skating Babies', Three 'Pony' and the iconic VW Golf 'Singing in the Rain' with Gene Kelly.

MPC have been one of the most successful visual effects companies in the UK for over 30 years.[citation needed]
