N.K. Salil (born as Salil Kumar Naskar) is a Bengali film screenplay and story writer.[1] When he was 17, he used to write drama script for Akashbani. Then he joined daily serials as an assistant director. His first film as a scriptwriter was an Indo-Bangladesh joint venture film, 'Ami Sei Meye', in 1998. It was an Indo-Bangladesh collaboration film directed by Prosenjit Chatterjee. He had also written scripts for some serials. Besides this, he had also acted in a few movies.[2][3]
