The National Liberty Museum is located at 321 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. It first opened its doors to the public in January 2000. It is an independent learning and exhibit center supported by visitors, community leaders and foundations interested in protecting America's heritage of freedom.[1]

The museum is dedicated to "preserving America's heritage of freedom by fostering good character, civic responsibility and respect for all people" [2] The core themes of the museum are leadership and good character; diversity and inclusion; peaceful conflict resolution; and civic engagement.[2]

A 20-foot tall glass art sculpture entitled "Flame of Liberty" created by American sculptor Dale Chihuly is on display at the museum.
