Obert Nyampipira

A native of Chinhoyi, Mashonaland West, Nyampipira began his career assisting Luke and Francis Mugavasi at their quarry in Guruve. He has exhibited in Guruve at the Gavazi Sculpture Garden; he has also shown at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe and at the Chapungu Sculpture Park. He currently lives and works with his wife, sculptor Letwin Mugavasi, and their children in Chitungwiza.
