Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology is a public and state-supported technical institution part of the Oklahoma State University System located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma (approximately 40 miles south of Tulsa). OSUIT has thirty-seven programs of study which include thirty-one programs of study towards an Associate in Applied Science degree, four programs towards an Associate in Science transfer degree, and three programs towards Bachelor of Technology degrees.[1]
Formerly, OSUIT was named OSU-Okmulgee,[2] but the name was changed to distinguish from the rest of the OSU system as a school for applied technology.
OSUIT has a training center at the Mid America Industrial Park in Pryor, Oklahoma.[3]
OSUIT partners with global corporations to develop academic coursework and practical training environments using industry-caliber equipment to create a seamless classroom to career transition.[4]
