PSafe TOTAL Android [1] is an Android security app from Brazil.[2] Developed by PSafe, a Brazilian online security company, the app is available in 3 languages with customer support from online FAQ,[3] and Facebook. The app is the #5 largest downloaded app in Brazil behind WhatsApp Messenger (#1), Facebook Messenger (#2), Facebook (#3), and Instagram (#4) in terms of total iOS & Google Play Downloads in 2014 in Brazil according to App Annie Index 2014. Features

PSafe features common functions available in today's Android security apps, including antivirus, anti-theft, cleanup, vault, scan, battery management, block SPAM, save data, monitor data, app manager and in-app access to a range of selected free apps. See Comparison of antivirus software.

Reception

The app was certified by AV-TEST.[5] Product reviews can be found from Tecmundo, TechTudo,[6] and IG.[7]

In Nov 2014, PSafe announced marketing partnership with Porto Seguro, a Brazilian insurance company for lost / stolen cell phones in Brazil,[8][9][10] to provide further compensation for lost phones (with PSafe Anti-theft activated) insured with Porto Seguro.
