P. Oxy. 7
Papyrus Oxyrhynchus 7 (P. Oxy. 7) is a fragment of a poem of Sappho in the Aeolic dialect. It was discovered by Grenfell and Hunt in 1897 in Oxyrhynchus. The fragment is dated to the third century. It is housed in the British Library. The text was published by Grenfell and Hunt in 1898.[1]
The manuscript was written on papyrus in the form of a roll (?). The measurements of the fragment are 197 by 96 mm. The fragment contains portions of twenty lines. The text is written in a good-sized square uncial hand.[2]
