Paulo Ribenboim

Paulo Ribenboim (born March 13, 1928) is a Brazilian mathematician who specializes in number theory. Ribenboim was born in Recife, Brazil, and has lived in Canada since 1962.[1] He has authored 246 publications including 13 books. Ribenboim has been a professor of mathematics at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, and is now a professor emeritus.
Jean Dieudonné was one of his doctoral advisors. Andrew Granville has been doctoral student of Ribenboim.
