Pehr Evind Svinhufvud's first senate was the first cabinet of independent Finland.
The Senate's term spanned from 27 November 1917 – 27 May 1918. The Senate sat in Vaasa during the Finnish Civil War from 29 January to 3 May 1918 and was known as the Vaasa Senate.
